Browser (Firefox only) Bookmarks Ride Again

As discussed on lifehack.org the humble browser bookmark is starting to recover some ground from that great bookmarker in the cloud i.e. del.icio.us . I too have returned to using browser bookmarks for certain purposes. To add to the list on lifehack.org, I use them for bookmarklets, for most of my frequently visited pages and for temporary or limited value sites.

But what prompted me to begin reusing bookmarks was the appearance of the Google Browser Sync extension for the Firefox Browser……

Google Browser Sync for Firefox is an extension that continuously synchronizes your browser settings – including bookmarks, history, persistent cookies, and saved passwords – across your computers. It also allows you to restore open tabs and windows across different machines and browser sessions.
